Nautilus Sporthorses is proud to stand Quinn our 2001 imported FPS Friesian stallion. After a 2 year exhaustive search and 2 trips to the Netherlands Quinn finally arrived January 2003. We could not be more happy with him. Standing 16 hands, Quinn is the baroque style Friesian with an abundance of flowing mane (over 40 inches), tail and feather. He is built like the original warhorse and the ground thunders as he moves. Quinn is the perfect example of the Friesian breed having all the traits they are known for: nobility, beauty, disposition, movement, intelligence and a ton of hair to go along with his gentle, tractable nature. Quinn's sire is the late great Teunis 332 and his dam, Klaska, is a ster mare in the Netherlands. Quinn is bold and showy and he received a prestigious 2nd Premium at the Dutch inspections. They are graded on conformation and movement. His first foals were born in 2005 and they are all gorgeous with Quinn's tiny hooked ears, incredibly upright neck, great hip and super movement. Only one foal was taken to an inspection last year and this one colt took 2nd place. We are so proud of him! Quinn is available for cross-breeding. |
